Many seniors will need a letter of recommendation from their school counselor or a teacher. If you are in need of a recommendation for a scholarship or college application, please follow these guidelines -
-
The first step is to ask if a teacher is willing and able to write a letter of recommendation for you. Please do not assume that any teacher will automatically write you a letter. It is your responsibility to talk with recommenders face-to-face. Staff do not want to receive a notification from Common App that you have listed them as a recommender and you have yet to talk to them.
- Please give us a minimum of two weeks to write a letter. The more time-the better the letter. Please do not expect to get a letter when your due date is in a few days. Lack of planning on your part should not create stress and an emergency on your recommender.
- To request a letter of recommendation, please fill out this form.

The internet can be an invaluable resource for locating sources of money for college. Beware of any services that charge a fee for scholarships. You should not have to pay money to get a scholarship.
We recommend that you use these links:

Since 1937, the NAIA has administered programs dedicated to championships in balance with the overall college educational experience.
