Administrative Team

 Athena Lodge is the Elementary Head Teacher.  She has primary management responsibilities for teachers, instructional aides, and recess duty people.  She is responsible for student academic progress, curriculum choices, and the implementation of the overall educational program.  You call Athena if you have questions about your students’ academics, grades, or the curriculum.   You can call her if you cannot get what you need from an individual teacher. 
 

 

Diana Barnhart is KVCS Operations Director and CTE Coordinator. She is the primary person on facilities and district relations.  She is a good person to call if you have a complaint with any administrative staff or want to discuss school policy.  
 

 

Mark Hazelton is the Assistant to the Operations Director

 Scott Castle is the Middle/High Head Teacher with his focus more at the high school level. He earned a Master's Degree in Education from WOU and has worked at KVCS since 2004. Scott has management responsibilities for secondary teachers and is responsible for student academic progress, curriculum choices, and the implementation of the secondary educational program.

Michael Chung is the Middle/High Head Teacher with his focus more at the middle school level along with being the Activities & Athletic Director. He earned a Master's Degree in Education and a Principal License from George Fox University. He is also currently working on a Doctorate of Education degree in Educational Leadership. Michael has management responsibilities for secondary teachers, coaches, after school staff, and summer camp staff.
