The purpose of Title I-A is to improve basic programs, and provide all children with an opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education. 

 

Title I-C

The purpose of Migrant Education is to ensure migrant students have equitable access to high-quality public education through addressing the unique needs of migrant students, supporting them through academic disruptions, linguistic and cultural transitions, social challenges, health issues and more.

Title II-A supports effective instruction, improves teacher and leader quality and focuses on preparing, training, and recruiting high-quality teachers and principals based on three basic themes:

  • Great educators and principals matter.
  • Educators need intentional support.
  • All students deserve equity of opportunity.

The primary purpose of English Learners and Immigrant Youth is to assist educators, school district leaders, and educational partners in the implementation of programs that support multilingual learners in accessing and benefiting from a world-class, well-rounded, and equitable education system. 

 

Title iv-A

The purpose of Student Support and Academic Enrichment is to increase capacity of schools and districts to:

  • Provide all students with access to a well-rounded education. 
  • Improve school conditions for student learning. 
  • Improve the use of technology in order to improve academic achievement and digital literacy of all students.
